A Rainbow of possibilities

I am so inspired by this month's special - Create the Rainbow!  These bright colors spoke to me and I had an idea for a fun and colorful birthday layout.  See what's on sale for 25% off during "Create the Rainbow" special!

The colors in this layout are those featured in one of the special paper packs available in June at a 25% discounted.  The Rainbow Cardstock Bundle (CC61810) features 2 sheets each of Tangerine, Lemon, Willow, Pacifica, Pansy and Cranberry for just $7.45.

This layout features a design from the "How-To" book Make It From Your Heart Vol. 1 (9035).  The title and balloons were cut using designs from CTMH Cricut cartridges Artiste (retired) and Artbooking (Z3399).  The decorations were inspired by my CTMH "stash" and included items such as colorful bakers twine, scraps of coordinating paper and "zip strips" from past paper packs, stamped designs from D1477 Universal Backgrounds (retired), D1709 Line it up (Available in the Cricut Flower Market collection Z3290), and D1558 Washi Wonder (Hostess Rewards - retired).  I also pulled out some other older embellishments such as black enamel stars and floret paper flowers.  It was fun to use some of my "scraps" along with this colorful paper bundle!  What's in your stash that will work perfectly with this rainbow of color!?

Spring layout and cards

I hope everyone is starting to have some nice weather here in the U.S.  I tried to encourage Mother Nature by making a springtime layout.  Here is a photo of my recent layout for spring and some cards I made around Valentine's Day.  This layout features Close To My Heart's "Chelsea Gardens" paper.

Back in January, I created these 3"x3" Valentine cards featuring the color of the year, Bashful.  I pulled out a variety of stamps I have with hearts and love theme.  I think they turned out ok.  I used regular computer paper and an envelope punch board to make tiny envelopes.
